CAUGHT IN 4K: Dr. Zack Williams Admits His Teaching Is NOT in the Gospel

Dr. Zack Williams, Pastor of Flat Creek Church in Gainesville, Georgia, joined me for a direct discussion about the most important question any preacher can answer: What must a person do to be saved?
This conversation became intense.
Dr. Williams and I discussed repentance, faith, works, Romans 10, the sinner’s prayer, confession, calling upon the Lord, and the biblical definition of the Gospel. During the discussion, he acknowledged that certain things he teaches as part of his salvation presentation are not actually contained in the Gospel itself.
That admission matters.
The Gospel is not what YOU do for Jesus Christ. The Gospel is what JESUS CHRIST did for you.
1 CORINTHIANS 15:1-4
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
One of the central disputes involved whether faith can somehow be classified as a work. Scripture answers that question plainly:
ROMANS 4:5
5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
The believing man is specifically described as one who “worketh not.”
We also deal directly with Romans 10, repentance, turning from sin, Acts 2:38, and what a lost sinner must actually do to receive eternal life.
ACTS 16:30-31
30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Open your King James Bible, examine the passages in context, and determine what the Scripture actually says.
The question is not whether someone is sincere, educated, ordained, experienced, or has preached for seventeen years.
The question is whether the Gospel being preached is the Gospel revealed in Scripture.
Jesus Christ shed His blood, died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. Salvation is not earned by religious works, reformation, baptism, surrender, promises of obedience, or human merit. The ungodly sinner is justified by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work.
ROMANS 3:25
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
