Total Depravity? Or Total Deception?
🔥 "Total Depravity" is not a doctrine of humility. It is a doctrine of heresy.
In this first chapter of Killing Calvinism: Exposing the Five-Point Fraud, Dr. Robert Potthoff tears the mask off the first pet doctrine of Calvinism: Total Depravity. From pulpits to seminaries, from Spurgeon quotes to Geneva confessions, the lie has spread—that man is so dead, so damned, and so disabled that he cannot even respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ unless God forces him to.
But the Word of God says otherwise:
John 18:38
Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.
🕊️ Calvinism teaches death like Lazarus. But Jesus taught about the prodigal son: dead in sin, yes, but still able to remember, reason, repent, and return. That’s not irresistible grace. That’s real grace.
Luke 15:24
For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
📜 In this message, we expose:
The false interpretation of being "dead in sin"
The difference between spiritual separation and spiritual inability
The use of guilt-based theology to silence evangelism
The blasphemy of saying God commands what man cannot obey
The contradiction between Calvinism and John 1:12, Romans 10:13, and Deuteronomy 30:19
Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Dr. Potthoff answers the smear of "Semi-Pelagianism" with full Scripture. This is not free will above God, this is man responding to God's drawing, God's conviction, God's call—freely, not forcibly.
Titus 2:11
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.
👊 Calvinism does not exalt grace. It strangles it with a noose of philosophical fatalism. It does not glorify Christ. It slanders Him with a counterfeit gospel that turns invitation into mockery and repentance into reprogramming.

🧠CHOOSE LIFE. BELIEVE THE GOSPEL.
Deuteronomy 30:19
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.
