THE RIGHT PERSON AND THE RIGHT OBJECT | Lesson 3 of 5 | Blessed Assurance

Blessed assurance does not float on feelings. It rests on a foundation.

In Lesson 3 of our Blessed Assurance: Faith That Cannot Be Shaken series, we anchor faith where God anchors it. If not all belief saves, then where must faith rest? Scripture answers clearly. The right Person. The right Object.

Salvation is not believing about Jesus. It is believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. Faith must rest in a Person, not a process. Not a prayer. Not a performance. Not a church system.

And that Person is exclusive.

Acts 4:12 leaves no room for divided trust. Christ is not supplemented. He is not assisted. He is not completed by your obedience, your endurance, or your reform.

Then Scripture names the Object of saving faith.

Romans 3:25 declares it plainly. Faith in His Blood.

Not faith in faith.

Not faith in repentance as a work.

Not faith in baptism.

Not faith in perseverance.

Faith in His Blood.

The cross was not partial. It was final.

When Jesus cried, “It is finished,” the debt was paid. The work was complete. Salvation was not started. It was accomplished.

This lesson exposes:

• Counterfeit Christs

• Divided faith

• Works mixtures that frustrate grace

• Religious systems that rob believers of rest

And it strengthens every soul who has truly trusted Christ alone.

If your assurance depends on your grip on Christ, it will tremble.

If your assurance depends on Christ’s grip on you, it will stand.

Blessed assurance rests on:

Right Person.

Right Object.

Finished Work.

No additions.

Where faith rests in Christ alone, there is no condemnation. There is peace through the Blood of His cross. There is rest instead of fear.

Examine where your faith rests.

If it rests in the Lord Jesus Christ and His shed Blood alone, assurance will not shake. It will settle.
