Did the Apostle Paul deny the new birth? Mid-Acts Hyper-Dispensationalism says yes because Paul never used the exact phrase “born again.” This sermon exposes that claim as an argument from silence that collapses under Scripture.
Paul does not begin salvation with charts or labels. He begins with a dead sinner who needs life.
EPHESIANS 2:1
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
Dead men do not need reclassification. Dead men need quickening.
In this message, we walk directly through Paul’s own words. Quickened. New creature. Regeneration. Renewing. Begetting. Formation. Paul assumes regeneration everywhere he teaches salvation because without life, none of his doctrine functions.
TITUS 3:5
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
This sermon proves that Paul never separates being “in Christ” from being made alive. Justification without regeneration is not Paul’s gospel. It is a theological invention.
You will also see clearly that Paul does not contradict Jesus or Peter. Scripture does not require identical vocabulary to teach identical truth. Different words. Same life.
JOHN 3:7
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
1 PETER 1:23
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
TITUS 3:5
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
If regeneration is removed, Paul’s gospel collapses. If life is optional, salvation becomes paperwork.
This is Part 3 in a verse-by-verse dismantling of Mid-Acts Hyper-Dispensationalism using the King James Bible.
Trust the shed blood of the sinless Son of God, Jesus Christ, who died for your sins according to the Scriptures, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
